Student Safety When Walking To School

Student Safety When Walking to School

Dear LTIS Parent/Caregiver,

With daylight hours waning at this time of year, we would like to remind parents whose children walk to school to have their children wear visible clothing when walking to school. Some of the routes that children use to walk to school are poorly lit (especially the alleyway at the North East side of the school) and being visible will help with safety. The best case scenario is that you have your child walk on the sidewalks that are lit with streetlights.

Kind regards,

Joe MacIsaac
