Emergency Communication

Keeping informed during an emergency:

During an emergency, it is unlikely that you will be able to reach the school by phone. Schools will, however, make every effort to contact parents/caregivers directly or through one of the methods noted below.

In an emergency, information will be shared through school and division-based websites and social media channels, including:

Websites:

aspenview.org (Aspen View Public Schools)

ltis.aspenview.org (Landing Trail Intermediate School)

Facebook:

facebook.com/aspenviewschools (Aspen View Public Schools)

facebook.com/LandingTrailSchool/ (Landing Trail Intermediate School)

Twitter:

Alert Solutions (email):

Aspen View Public Schools uses Alert Solutions 2 (a component of PowerSchool Parent Portal) to communicate electronically with parents/guardians, who can subscribe to receive messages from the school via email, text message and/or voice recording. We encourage all parents/guardians to subscribe at least one method of notification through Alert Solutions 2, and to keep their contact information (phone numbers, email addresses) updated. This can be done through the school office, or self-managed through Parent Portal (instructions here).
